Castles Ultra route run

This event was born out of nostalgia by many runners for the Two Castles Mountain Ultra trail race, which for too many reasons is no longer being held.
We will run from checkpoint 5 (Alevkaya) to checkpoint 6 (Five Fingers/Pentadaktylos/Besparmak) along the Castles route and then return to Alevkaya along different trails (to add some novelty to the run).
Each way is about 9k, but those wanting to do less can turn back along the alternative trails at about 6k, making 12k in all.
Note that this is a group run not a race and faster runners who don't know the way will need to 'loop or loiter'. Those who do know the way are free to run at their own pace.

This run is free of charge -- it is being organised for the sheer enjoyment of running on the trails.
